This achingly pleasant and satisfying little animated short disguises a surprising amount of innovation.
It was entirely created within the Quill application and intended to be experienced within the Facebook Spaces VR app, by multiple people simultaneously. Which meant you could watch it -- and hear it! -- from different perspectives.

My team did all the sound and music for this piece (I also cast and recorded the narrator voice). It was a wild new way of thinking about spatialized sound, which went on to inform a number of the Quill pieces that we supported.
Spaces is long deprecated, but Beyond the Fence is still available on the Meta Quest store.
